Detailed Constable Male/Female (General Duty) Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must ensure they meet the following standards before applying.1. CET Group C Qualified

- Must have passed Class 10+2 from a recognized board/institution.
- Hindi/Sanksrit upto Matric Standard or higher education.

HSSC Constable Selection Process 2026
There are Five stages to recruit Male/Female Constable (General Duty) for HSSC Constable direct recruitment CET Qualified short list, PMT, PST, Knowledge Test and Medical Exam & DV.
Stage I: CET Qualified Short List
The candidates CET qualified based on their marks in CET will be short listed for appearing Physical Measurement
Stage II: Physical Measurement Test (PMT)
The Physical Measurement Test is mandatory. The candidates shall have to undergo PMT, it is qualifying nature only, The Candidate who fail to meet the test shall stand eliminated from further section process

Stage III: Physical Screening Test (PST)
The Candidates who have qualified Physical Measurement Test shall further appear in PST to judge their physical fitness and endurance.| Candidate | Race distance | Qualifying time |

Stage IV: Knowledge Test
HSSC shall shortlist candidates equal to ten times the number of advertised posts for each category among those who have passed PMT and PST further to attend Knowledge Test.- The knowledge test is objective type multiple choice questions for 97% weightage marks.
- The test will be in Hindi/English
- Min 50% marks for pass
Knowledge Test Syllabus
The exam questions will be asked from the topics of General Studies, General Science, Current Affairs, General Reasoning, Mental Aptitude, Numerical ability, Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, other relevant fields/trade etc. At least 10% questions relating to basic knowledge of computer and at least 20% questions relating to basic knowledge about Haryana. The standard of questions shall be as expected of an educated person having passed 10+2 examination for the post of Constable.Stage V: Medical Examination & Document Verification
Final shortlisted candidates in knowledge test undergo a medical check-up to ensure 6/6 vision (with or without glasses) and the absence of color blindness or physical deformities, those original certificates verification for final selection.Step-by-Step: How to Apply Online

3. Fill Application: After Registration complete using Log in "Constable General Duty Recruitment 2026."
4. Upload Scanned Documents:
- Recent Passport Photo
- Signature
- CET Qualified Certificate, Class 10, 12th Certificate & Reserved certificate (if applicable).
